These terms cover your use of the Lysine app and website, provided by Living Contrast. By creating an account or using Lysine, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Not medical advice

Lysine is a nutrition tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing in it is medical advice. Ratios, color ratings, outbreak insights and suggestions describe the food values and entries you record. Outbreak insights are correlations in your own data, not evidence of cause. Talk to a qualified clinician before making decisions about your health, diet or supplements. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

Who can use Lysine

You must be at least 18 years old. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens in your account. Tell us at support@lysine.app if you think someone else has accessed it.

Food information

Food values come mainly from USDA FoodData Central and from other published sources. They are averages and can differ from the food you actually eat, and they may contain errors. Amounts you log are estimates. Use them as a guide, not as exact measurements.

Your content

You own what you enter. You give us permission to store it and show it to you so we can run the service. If you share a recipe publicly, you also give us permission to show it, with your name and any photo, to other users until you make it private or delete it. Only share photos and text you have the right to share. Public recipes are reviewed, and we may decline or remove any that break these terms.

Acceptable use

Don’t:

• post anything unlawful, harmful, hateful or misleading, including health claims about foods or recipes;
• use someone else’s account, or try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours;
• interfere with the service, overload it, or scrape it with automated tools;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, except as the law allows.

Shop purchases

Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe. If an order has a problem, contact us at support@lysine.app and we’ll work with you to resolve it. This doesn’t limit any rights you have under consumer law. Supplements sold in the shop are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk. If we do, we’ll tell you why where we can.

The service is provided “as is”

We work to keep Lysine accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular health outcome.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Living Contrast isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the app. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful, we’ll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Lysine after that, the new terms apply.
